Mango & Zuzu
My name is Margaret Diaczynsky, but please call me Mango. I am an artist, student at Drexel University, and an overall fun person to be around. However, more importantly, I am the owner of the stunning goose here plastered all over this site, Zuzu.
No, I did not hatch Zuzu with the intention to gain all the attention that she has. Zuzu did that on her own. Originally, she was just meant to be the protector of my flock, as I had been having a predator problem at the time. All my sources led me to believe that geese were the ultimate guardians. So, I ordered her egg, raised her, and watched Zuzu do her thing. Sure enough, I had no more issues with predators.
However, I wanted to keep Zuzu friendly. Geese are not fun to deal with when they get territorial or hormonal. So, I ordered her goose diapers, found the outfits, and started to take her to my local pet stores. Sure enough, she found her calling. Zuzu became OBSESSED with the attention she got from her peers. Soon enough we were invited to local festivals, parades, and fairs. Though that’s not where her journey ends.
The reenactment group, The Banner of Jasgna Gora took her in, and that’s when Zuzu began to really shine. Kids would come up, and love on her. Zuzu would show off her impressive stature, and almost instantly became a diva for the camera, posing as soon as she saw the photographic device. Zuzu is now an official member of the group, yes, I even have to sign membership papers for her. The members get upset if I show up without her, but even more importantly, the amount of people who come to our events have doubled since Zuzu made her first appearance.
